Quite frankly is works brilliantly. Most of my clients are totally amazed. Basically it will remove all dirt from your tiles and grout and restore them to their original color, regardless age or soil level. Even if you have tried every thing under the sun (as some of my clients have) this system will clean them quickly and easily.
No. The system will not affect or harm your floor at all provided the tiles and grout are in reasonably sound condition. I can clean tiles that are cracked or fractured without too much trouble. Cracked or missing grout however, can be a problem, as loose grout tends to get dislodged in the cleaning process. If you have a problem with loose grout and are thinking about re-grouting that area, then keep in mind it is better to re-grout after cleaning rather than before. This is because cleaning will remove the loose grout particles and clean the area thoroughly so that the new grout will hold better.
Once you have your tiles and grout cleaned you'll want to keep them clean as long as possible....and there are a few tricks of the trade that will help you achieve this. Obviously, your tiles will start to get dirty as soon as you use them and you will clean them accordingly. However, it is how you clean them that will impact most on keeping your tiles & especially the grout clean. If you use a conventional mop and bucket, be aware that at some stage the water in the bucket will get dirty and you will be mopping dirty water back onto the floor. When the tiles dry the water evaporates but the dirt remains behind. So, if you have a light colored grout, and every time you mop you leave a slight film of dirt to dry in the grout, then over time the dirt will build up and the grout gets darker and darker.
Once you are aware of this, you can combat the situation by using some or all of the following measures

If you have a large area of tiles change the water regularly |

Start mopping in the least dirty areas fist, so water is cleaner longer |
|
After moping initially, go over area again with clean water to rinse |
|
Steam mops are (according to some of my clients) useful as they tend not to leave excess moisture behind |
|
Enjo mops (again according to some of my clients) pick up and hold the dirt without leaving moisture behind and are therefore also helpful. |
Sealed State, Sandstone or Terracotta - Unfortunately not, in most cases. Any sealed surfaces such as slate, sealed sandstone or sealed terracotta floors are a problem purely because of the seal.
Unsealed slate, sandstone, terracotta and brick floors may be cleaned.
Does it clean Porcelain tiles?
Yes, I have cleaned all sorts or porcelain tiles. Ranging from the more porous mat finished porcelain up to the full gloss variety.
